Is your infected just because somene saids that you are?  | |  I was working on my computer all a sudden some program flashed talking about I need to download a program so I won't be infected, do you trust sources like that? my girl-friend told me that some program popped up telling her to download this program to keep form being infected, she got a Virus doing so. I alresdy have Avg, and it runs about 3:00am everyday. should I trust this program or let my my Avg do the Job? I get confused about this?

Well, it actually installs a type of virus on your computer that you have to PAY them to get rid of. Unfortunately, it actually installs as soon as that web page starts "scanning" your computer. I did find a way to get rid of it, but it's not easy!
