Do you own a PAN card? / myLot

PAN card id Permanent Account Number card issued by income tax department.In India,PAN card is a must to transact more than Rs.50000/- through bank.And it is mandatory for online trading people who deal with share market.Do you own a PAN card?I just got it as I am interested in share market trading.

Yes, I do have a PAN card. The PAN card is now almost like the social security number and it is required for many transactions including the ones that you have pointed out. Cheers! Ram

I am delighted to get a response for this post,after so long time.I think,this goes unnoticed as it may hold some other name in other countries.Anyhow,now in India,everything is getting computerized and we all must have some more cards like that in the future.Cheers!

Hello Ganesh I am not into share market or trading of any kind, but my income is in the taxable range since 1974, i pay income tax regularly Yes i have a PAN card from the very beginning when govt of india made this mandatory.. Thanks for sharing. Welcome always.
