we are eating the wrong things.

A Black walnut tree sheds acid from its leaves each time it rains. Never try to grow a garden under a walnut tree! When I was raising Beef cattle, there were weeds invading my hay fields and thistles in my Grain, but now I'm a beekeeper and there are no longer any weeds growing in my fields, because my fields are filled with Honey Plants.

I love the way you think! Maybe we should all eat dandelions, nettles and chick weed. Think how healthy they must be for you, nothing kills the suckers!Maybe if we ate them we could live forever too!

Well I have to say I thought after reading the title I would read something about eating junk foods and the sort of unhealthy food but I was a little bit taken aback about what I have read honestly I dont know why they grow faster I guess thats how nature want those weeds to grow

I like the way you think LOL. In fact, many weeds ARE edible. I can remember eating dandelion greens with butter, salt, pepper, and vinegar as a child. Many herbs fall into the "weed" category in America that other regions use for food and medication. Maybe you are onto something! Karen

I think the weeds grow faster because their normal habitat is that place. But many of the veggies we eat come from other parts of the world. Maybe we should learn which are the veggies that came from our part of the earth. Even then, there are plants that are bigger than others and take more time to grow. Other plants, like tomatoes, we eat the fruits so we have to wait. But leafy greens grow very fast. Try leaf lettuce and radishes

HAHA!i fell the same way savypat.i also planted some tomato plants.believe it or not one of the plant is not giving any fruits.all the others are coming including weeds a lot.everyday iam trying to pulling them out and still they come the next day.i fell the same way as u do sometimes that we are eating the wrong things.but what to do?
