Any guitarists in the house?  

OK, I seriously suck at guitar and I think the best song I could play on it - a couple years ago - was one of the Offsprings' songs - "I Choose"! I think that was my favorite song to play for about a year. lol. Otherwise I would just play anything with power chords - because they were fun & easy. But I never really got good at it & I'm still jealous of people who kept with it & are super good.

I haven't heard any of those songs before..But I think I'm going to check them out now.

My favorite type of songs are country,rock,pop. I normally write and play my own songs .... so no one can compare me to the original. I'm an old guy, so if I do play songs from other artists (like Jim Croce) it's usually something from the 60's or 70's ...although I listen to current pop songs. I guess I'm more into writing a song and trying to give it some life by adding guitar tracks to it using my small home recording system.

Well im a metal guitarist in the band etched in stone www.myspace.com/etchedinstone209 , and lets just say, that im not a bad guitarist. i try to stay modest tho. i enjoy the challenge of writing metal, but i also like playing blues, jazz some classical. the only problem is when i try to learn other peoples music, i just cant seem to do it as well as when i write music myself. so i write music for my band and i write stuff for myself. chek out some of the unreleased tracks i put up on my myspace... myspace.com/idqineveryway . there rough tracks but i do the drum programming and write both leads and rythm guitar for the songs i make. dont gank em there all owned by me... tho i may sell some via ascap if anyones interested

My favorite song to play is "Coming Back To Life" by Pink Floyd.
The hardest song i play is Nervous Breakdown by Brad Paisley, its that whole ultra fast chickin pickin thing.
My idol is either Hank Marvin or Dave Gilmour. sad i know. lol

Honestly I got a lot of fav songs to play. For me i wana idolize myself so that I would strive more to enhance my skill in playing. I got a lot of influences and that why, if im gonna put them all here, its gona cost me a lot of time. hehehe. by the way, I love dragonforce.
