Strange things happen at the grocery store

This weekend I was standing outside the local grocery store, raising money for a charity event I am participating in this fall. I never really paid much attention to the things that happen in the parking lot, but it was really an eye-opener for me.
First of all, we all see this and it's very frustrating. People who park in the handicapped spot without the proper sticker. This has always irked me and I've always commented "It must be mental" as I walk by.
Then I noticed that quite a few people in the handicapped spot who did have the right sticker had no need to be there. Like they were driving their parents car, but their parents weren't with them.
Then there are the people who park up in the loading area, get out, go in, do their shopping (usually a half hour thing) and come back out. Or, they drop off the shopper and sit in the car - in the loading area - while the person runs in (at least a 15 minute shopping spree).
Most of the people who do drop off people or decide they are allowed to park in the loading area, park right in front of the ramp where people take their grocery carts to their car.
These were just some of the things I noticed, there were plenty more. I never have paid attention before, but I'm going to be watching more as I do more fundraisers.
What kind of behaviors have you noticed the parking lots?

All of the above. I see all of them. I do drop people and park occasionally or park and load, away from the main door. The thing about disabilities is that a heart or breathing problem or some forms of cellulitis may not be visible when a person parks in a restricted spot, so those I kind of give a pass to in my mind.

Oh, I do know that not all disabilities are obvious, and I do probably pre-judge sometimes... But when I saw a young girl HOP out of the car and pretty much dash into the store (well, actually up to our table to donate) I knew it was her mother's or grandmother's handicapped car. She didn't have to take up the space, she did because she could.
The second day I actually felt a little self-conscious when my husband pulled up to the front so we could load everything back into the truck!
I've just never noticed this before, but I will probably not be able to forget it now...

I've seen people park so they take two parking spots - winter time is the worst people just seem to stop where ever they want to stop and leave the car there.
I've seen people sit in their trucks one going each way and visit in the middle of the road.

I don't mind when people stop to talk, as long as they realize that there is other traffic and move when they see us...

I dont mind either...most of the time.
The most recent time i minded the most was i stopped to get gas at the ONLY gas station in town. The guys filled their gas up then went in and paid and then proceeded to come out and lean against their trucks and visit for 10 minutes. I finally had to get out of my car and ask them to move their trucks so i could get some gas as i was already late for work. They grumbled and took their sweet time moving too.(I couldnt go anywhere else not enough gas and no other places to go!)
