Do you wear shoes at home?

I don't like wearing shoes at home either. The only kind of shoes I might wear at home would be flip flops.

i wear flip flops only because we are redoing our living room and we only have a messed up wood floor right now so i keep something on my feet but most of the time i don't like to wear shoes, my 6 year old son don't like shoes or socks at all as soon as he gets home from school he takes them off and runs out back he says he can't stand them, i am the same way but some times i put my sandles or flip flops on .

We always take our shoes off at the door. If we don't, the dirt gets tracked into the carpet and it's harder to clean. When family visits, they take their shoes off too. We take them off at their house too. I feel more comfortible also, it helps to keep the floor clean.

Hi mermaid...I don't like to wear shoes at home - they remind me of work too much. I have pairs of shoes at each door and if I have to go outside I just slip the shoes on and go outside. Otherwise I'm barefooted most of the time. It's the most comfortable thing for me. My husband too wears his shoes everywhere and is constantly tracking dirt and leaves and whatnot throughout the house!

We don't wear any shoes at home. If it's winter then we wear socks if it's too cold, otherwise we just don't wear anything. If our shoes are really dirty we take them off and leave them outside or in the laundry room, usually they aren't dirty but just wet, and we leave them on the porch then.

Yes I wear house at home, I don't like walking around in the house, in my bare feet I don't like getting dirt on my feet, it doesn't feel right to me, so I make sure I have shoes on my feet, or slippers on my feet, I am always walking around my my apartment with shoes on my feet at all times, that's just the way I do things.

no i do not like to wear shoes at my home......i just stay bear foot and enjoy the cold flooring and this also makes me feel more relaxed as my legs are cramped in my shoes for mot of the day.....my legs just want some kind of freedom at home.....if i wear any footwear then it is a simple slipper......that to very rare..........

I do not wear shoes or slippers at home. Sometimes I do wear soft slippers at home, which I use only at home and does not use it outside. I think it is better to use one slipper or shoes inside the house and that helps to keep the floor clean.

I can't stand wearing shoes at home simply because it's home and I want to be as comfortable as I possibly can. It just feels too formal whenever I wear shoes in my own house, and whenever I go over to a friend's house, I have to force myself not to take off my shoes.
lol I think the Japanese have the right idea with their tradition of taking off shoes before entering one's home.:)

I usually kick off my shoes at home and either go barefoot or wear slipper socks. I'm not a big fan of shoes anyway.
