In a nearby town, in a section of that town already known for its unsavory characters and criminal activities, a man, wanted by a couple of municipalities on outstanding warrants, invited police to enter his home, KNOWING they were police, while he was in the process of packaging drugs intended for sale and distribution!!
How great would it be if ALL criminals were so readily caught!! LMAO
Now, I've never been inclined nor tempted to do anything of an illegal nature like this, but even I would know that if my butt had warrants and the people at the door announced themselves to be cops, I'd be danged sure to NOT add fuel to the fire, you know? I mean......hello??? Is anyone home???? Or were they too busy sampling the product to even notice?
Have you ever known anyone like these guys? Whether criminal or not, so clueless that they just don't realize that they've set themselves up?

Wow, I bet he is ribbed by his soon to be fellow inmates. When comparing stories on how they got caught, I'm thinking he better think up a better story than the truth. It reminds of today when I was watching a rerun of The New Detectives, and this guy had been in on a kidnaping. He has used his uncle's house to hide the woman, but then he had his friends later let her go in the wilderness. Well, the police found the house, and they found out that uncle owned it. So they go up to the nephew, just wanting to talk about his uncle, and the guy confesses before the FBI agents say a word about the kidnaping. He confessed right out. And all they had wanted was to know about his uncle's activities! And to top it all off, the uncle didn't even know his nephew had been there. He could have got off scott free.

Actually no. It's unfortunate. He was afraid if he didn't confess first, he wouldn't be able to cop a deal. So when he saw the police, he just assumed...but he did get a deal since he ratted the other guys out first. On the plus side, he didn't kill the woman he kidnaped. Of course that just means he has a conscience. Man, I hope I spelled that right. lol

You would not believe how many criminals are at the bottom of the Darwin-fail pool! That is why the prisons are so full, not because the cops are so brilliant. The truly brilliant criminal is the true rare bird.

This one actually takes the cake for "dumb criminal."
Someone actually incriminated himself in rap music at:

There was also someone who robbed a bank after cashing a check, & he left his driver's license at the bank that he used for ID to cash his check. I think if you poke around MyLot, there will be many other cases of criminals somehow, getting caught because of a dumb error.

oh yea.when i worked at this one hotel in arizona, this one guy accused me of stealing his weed from his room, and threatened to call the cops.my boss told him "go ahead".
he did,and preceeded to tell them what he was missing, and how much.i swear to you,the cops were trying not to laugh.they were like "you sure now?"
when he let the police in,he had other stuff on his table.needless to say he got arrested.
duh!!

LOL Yeah I do love it!! Dumb azzes to be doing the crime to begin with and to be caught by their own stupidity is even better!! LOL We had one happen here and it came on the news about these guys were stealing some tire rims and when one guy crutched down, his pant leg had pushed down a speed dial number which was to 911 and the 911 dispatch heard everything that went on and sent the police out after the guys and they were caught!!
