1. nympha687 (680) | 6 months ago | A healthy meal for me is getting the right amount of carb, protein and serving more fruits and vegetables. Of course, I don't practice it. i'm not much of a health buff. hehehe

2. jalucia (506) | 6 months ago | A healthy meal for me is one that includes lots of veggies and some protein. It should have minimal carbs and sugars. Do I practice this? Sometimes. If I practiced it all the time I would lose weight - which is something that I need to do. But, those sugars and carbs are addicting.

4. dhowarth (109) | 6 months ago | Your best bet is a meal high in protein and low in carbs. I'm not talkin no carbs, like Atkins Diet or anything, but just low carb. Best bet is to keep your carb intake to the mornings like oatmeal or pancakes, and try to limit them later on in the day. Same goes for fruit. Shoot for that only in the morning as well, although it really won't hurt you to have them whenever you want. I followed this pretty strictly for a semester this year and lost 25 pounds over 15 weeks. Just remember to keep it all in moderation carbs and sugar aren't the devil:)

6. mikeyo105 (111) | 4 months ago | A healthy meal should be high in protein, low in carbs, low in fats and sugars. It's actually much better for the body to have more frequent meal in small portions than to just have 3 big meals per day. If you could try to have 5 meals a day and cut down on the portions of each meal. This means that everytime you eat a meal your blood sugar level doesn't spike as high and overall cuts the amount of food that is instantly converted into storage. It also lowers your chance for getting diabetes and other sugar related problems. Do i practise this? When I can. Sometimes my schedules really don't allow me to do that.. especially when I need to work around my university class schedule.. but when i can i definitely try to do that because i know it's strongly recommended and a lot better for your body.
