Who are your top favorite male actors and why?  |

 There are many great male actors still around today, but my top three favorites are Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, and Sean Connery. They play many different characters equally well. I admire them for that ability, that versatility.

Jack Nicholson,
Morgan freeman, and
Tom hanks.
Jack Nicholson is such a terrific actor, he suits all chars.. Splendid actor. I liked him the most in One flew over cuckoo's nest and As good as gets..
Also the movie The Shining.Wow his expressions are terrific
Morgan Freeman, his choice of movies.. Wow, everythin has its special. His master works are The bucket list, The shawshank redemption, se7en, high crimes, and i can add his all movies.
Tom hanks. I became a fan of him after watchin the movie Forrest Gump.. Then i downloaded all his movies and watched it. He got his own ways. Comedy to drama and everything...

He does bad guy/good guy equally well. And Hanks, I believe is one of the most versatile actors of our time.

He has so many sides to him and can do just about any characyer thrown at him.
Sometimes it is hard thought to accept him in a serious role when there have been so many comedies that he has done.
I think my most favorite movie that he did was "Mrs Doubtfire". that had to really push him to the limit of trying to stay in character.
I love all of his movies, though and hope he makes alot more.

Alan Rickman--I wish he weren't so typecast as being someone who only plays evil or evil-but-not-evil (see Severus Snape) characters. He's got such talent...I only know of one or two movies where his character isn't killed off.:( That should change.
Ralph Fiennes--If it had been anyone else playing Voldemort in the "Harry Potter" series, then I would truly hate Voldemort. But it's Ralph Fiennes!
I can't help but rooting for the bad guy whenever he portrays them. lol
Jason Isaacs--Whenever I watch "The Patriot," I have a hard time deciding whether to root for England or for America because he is awesome in this movie.

I also like Roger Moore, mainly for being 007 in the James Bond films. John Cleese a British actor who has starred in comedies as well as a few films.

Up to now,my favorite male actor is Keanu Reeves.I love Keanu,not only because of his gifts,but because of his personalities.His experiences touch me deeply and I really hope that he can be happy.He has suffered too much,but his eyes are still so touching,like a new born baby's.The Matrix made him famous but I love Speed most.He is always so different from others.And he always travel alone with some ordinary bags.Also,he always give giftes to his workmates.He is so considerate.I admire him very much.
