What will you do if you happen to meet a movie star?

I would like to think that I would be prim and proper, but I have a feeling that I would act like a giddy school girl and start following the celeb. Hopefully if I ever meet a famous movie star, I will have my camera with me so that I can snap a pic and show my friends...

It depends what movie star... If I happen to meet my idol - Emma Watson - I'd probably faint before I could think of what I should do lol:)

But if it was someone I'm not interested in, I probably wouldn't do anything. It's just a movie star, ok so what? Yes, you don't meet them everyday, but if it's just a movie star and not someone I admire it wouldn't matter. I wouldn't care to take a picture with him/her or get and autograph just because that person is famous.

But as I said, if it was someone I admired like the actors from the Harry Potter movies I'd faint! I wouldn't even think about talking to them! Or getting anywhere near them!:O They mean too much for me... I wouldn't be able to handle the situation...

But I can understand that woman, too. It is a somehow stupid reaction... but depending on the reason you are going near the movie star. If you're doing it just because you think it's an "honour" to talk to a famous person then yeah, it's a stupid reaction and I'd never do that. You would just make a fool of yourself, by acting silly in front of a person who is no more than just a human like all of us! Even if he/she is famous, that doesn't change anything.
But if you're doing it because that person means something to you, if you admire the person and not the star or the fact that she/he is rich and famous, only if you respect and have a special admiration for that person, only then I think it's ok to act like that. It means that you wish to get a picture with that star because that person means something to you and you would cherish the pic or the chance to share a few words with her/him.

But in my case, I wouldn't go near any star even if I truly admired them or not. Especially if it was someone I liked a lot. Because if you think about it, they talk to so many people in a day, they take thousands of pictures with thousands of fans, so going there to talk to her and ask her to take a pic with me wouldn't surprise her at all, she's used to doing that everyday. It wouldn't mean a thing to her.
So I'd rather not be "just another fan" that she'll forget the minute she leaves the place...
If it would be for me to meet her one day, I don't want to meet her for a minute as a fan, but I'd like to have the chance to get closer to her and be able to get to know her better and truly talk to her. That would mean a lot to me because I admire that person very much.
If I'd only talk to her for a sec, it would be like someone showing you a mountain of cakes but in the end tells you that you're only allowed to have a small bite... It would only hurt me even more, because it's obvious the small "chat" won't mean anything to her.

Starstruck thou are. But reactions actually depend on the movie star. If its Harrison Ford, I'd do the Calixta pouring liquid on the suit after a scripted accidental bump. If it's Brad Pitt, I'd be prudent but sexy, ala Angelina. If it's Tom Cruise, I'd be naughty, a far cry from Katie, I think. If it's Hugh Jackman, I'd drop dead right away. He is so gorgeous I'd forget to breathe just knowing I'm breathing the same air with him. So how can I even ask for his autograph...

i met a movie star so many times, in the mall like megamall and shangrila, now you can see them in gateway. im near in gateways so we always in that place to have coffee or dinner sometimes.
If i want that movie start i take their picture, sometimes with me, sometimes with my friends. I even go to starbucks abs, so we can see them in real, not just in tv. I dont care what other people say, because we all have our own IDOL.

When I was in Vegas a year or two ago I saw beyonce at a hotel and she smiled at me . I just stood there and gaped ....then my sister started sceaming and i started screaming and we were jumpimg round in circles...we were very excited

I've actually gotten to meet a few stars. I've met Kenyon Martin of the Denver Nuggets Basketball team and got a picture and he was pretty nice. But my favorite was the Flight of the Conchords that are on HBO. I got to go to their concert and get backstage and meet them because of a good friend of mine. They were actually really nice and got to make small talk with them. That's the best way to meet a celebrity is to make small talk and really not all about them because that's what they're used to.

Probably nothing. I might want to go up to them and say how much I like their work, but too many things would go through my head to let me. Like, I wouldn't want some stranger just coming up to me, so I wouldn't feel it was right to do it to them. Or, that they might be having a bad day and might not be in the mood to interact with people they don't know.

So, I'd likely do nothing and then come home and tell everyone that I was in the same place with a movie star.

I would probably do nothing, even for my favorite stars. I've meet a couple of stars before when going dining or shopping. I noticed them but I just look for awhile then left. They already have die hard fans clinging around all the time, I don't need to add to the list. Besides, sometimes they look uncomfortable and want to be left alone.

I dont want to take pictures with a movie star. I can really say its not my thing. Though i know i like to watch movies and love how they act, i still dont want to be near them just for pictures. They are people like us, not screaming and giggling when they pass. They are just working and with lots of publicity issues thats why they are popular. But being popular doesnt mean i will go near them.

i will only have to take away the crowd if its regine velasquez and judy ann santos. the rest of the stars are not that appealing to me anymore. i would just love to see them in pictures.
