 when you are in a hurry and have to reach somewhere very important and then you find traffic signals where you have to wait for some seconds or minutes, without any option, so do you always wait or have you ever crossed any traffic signal when its still in red? and if having done so, how many times have you been caught by the police? so, did you have to pay fine or how did you get yourself out of that situation? did the police person let you go because you gave a genuine reason or you apologised sincerely? please share what happened with you?

This is what I think of anytime I see someone running a red light, I think one day that person is going to cause an accident and kill someone.
I am a cautious driver and when it comes to intersections I am extra causes. I would never want to be a person who has taken another life just to beat out a light.

I don't drive now, but a couple of decades ago I was a cab driver, and late at night, I would give a careful look-around, and go ahead. I didn't feel right charging my customer in the back seat for some stupid law that tells me I had to stop when absolutely no one else was in the vicinity.
No, I was never caught for such a dastardly crime.
As a pedestrian I would not apologize either, if I crossed at a time that did not interfere with traffic.
