For starters it is aging. Superstars like Ballack etc are over the moon. Lampard, Terry and Essien have had three good seasons, they are now looking for support around them... Looks like Carvalho would be moving on, also Essien seems to be interested in moving over to Italy...
I think we need to see who Carlo brings in and then see how things go from there... I think Roman will have to wait at least 2 years before the Champions League glory, but will he give any manager that much time?

The club need fresheness. The team needs to work like a ral team. The profesionalism is just not enought for winning the CL. We all watch the final this year and Barca show as what need to be done and how the play need to be organized.
The not just play they feel the game in the "brain of their bones" and probably this is what is missing to us.
Carlo is big so if Roman gives him enought time to make a change we can win it.
I am 100% sure that atleast 2 new playears will com from Italy and probably the old ones will not be used.
I really think that Ballack does not give his heart for the team and he will be a good choice to go. | |
