I'll bet you know! From an article by Jim Kouri, carried in several newspapers both in print and online:
"Psychopathy is a personality disorder manifested in people who use a mixture of charm, manipulation, intimidation, and occasionally violence to control others, in order to satisfy their own selfish needs."
Here is the entire article: http://americandaily.com/index.php/article/1604
Can you please, please vote out the incumbents in the next election? Let there be a constant turnover of these conscious less pigs so that eventually they'll turn to other occupations and perhaps we'll get some people in that truly want to help our country.
Sorry for the rant. But I thought this was very interesting. The talk show host that mentioned the article also said the these traits were also shared by--successful talk show hosts!!
I know not all politicians are evil but most are there for their own selfish purposes and we keep voting for them term after term. Let's change this and rid our government of selfish psychopaths.

a psychopath is someone unable to feel empathy for others. i think that is the psychological definition but i didn't study psychology so i'm not sure. anyway, often these people aren't disfunctional and they are often well-represented in politics and business. which is worrying but how do you tell the difference between someone feeling and faking?

It's easy with a politician--his or her lips are moving.
I'm not saying there aren't politicians that truly want to represent the people and do good for them--I've just never come across one that's not self-serving and puts the needs of the people first.
