Is it true that you don't find mosquitos in France ?

I read somewhere that only country where you don't find mosquitos is France. Is this true ?
If this is true, it would be very nice to be there. No need to use any kind of smelly mosquito repellers.
I request from any mylotter who has visited or staying in France to respond.

Eehehe..i think it is false..so it depends if the article you read referred to a samll city,village or place located i france or as france in general so as country!!
I think mosquitos there are in france as in many others counties placed i the south of the europe also because in what way france won the battle in relation to mosquitos?considering that many places near france there are mosquitos too?i think ti is a starnge article..may be there are places in france where there are not mosquitos but i guess that in the south of the france as well there are mosquitos especially in summertime as in other places where there is the seaside!
