u r fired!

I got fired from my first ever proper job at McDonalds, this was because I started a relationship with a co-worker. Bear this in my there was another couple in there! My manager told me if I wanted to keep the job I would need to stop having a relationship. (me and my ex worked different shifts and never met up inside work hours not even for lunch). So I told him I was not prepared to do this. The manager started being really horrible to me during my shifts and one day it got so bad (he told me I was a useless, horrible cow) so I threw a burger at him had a meeting the next day and got fired. I took them to a tribunal was offered my job back and the manager got fired instead. I refused the job bakc as I had already got a better job with higher pay while waiting for the tribunal. I thought that was a brilliant result!

I am lucky to say that I have not been fired. One company that I worked for was downsizing and they started letting managers go first. I had been looking for another job already and had one lined up so I did not have to worry about being fired because I was already going to leave. All of the people that were getting let go did not seem to care that they were getting fired. I am glad that they were able tpo find other work as I have talked to them since then.

The company I worked with for almost 10 years closed shop. Though we(the employees) were advised a year earlier about the closure, still it was very difficult to accept it when the time finally came. No matter how I psyched myself out, nothing felt good about losing a job. Then I realized I should look at the positive side of it - we were given a good settlement, the company paid each employee more than what was provided for in the company policy. I was able to put up a small business from my separation pay. Now I work for myself, I'm the boss, and I'm able to provide jobs for my 5 staff. I now think losing my job was a blessing in disguise.

That wasn't very "nice of them" but yor response absolutely cracks me up! I have never gotten fired from a job, but I have been turned down for many. One guy made me so mad I about reported him. I went to an open interview for a restaurant. The guy was flirting with some of the girls there. Everyone could hear him. Well, he turned me down in the end because I wouldn't wear a bikini to work. Keep in mind this was a family establishment, not a club. They brought it up when discussing occasional theme parties, which is absolutely fine. However, you can wear more then a bikini for a hawaiin theme party!!!

In any case,life will tontinue to,fighting!

I get fired of my grocery store because,, the big boss said that. I wasn't smile enough ..I only stay 3 month outhere. It was my first jog with customer service, so at start, maybe I wasn't perfect,but didn't let me time to be more 'good'. My boss of my department try to defend me and keep me, but that was the big boss decision. Last month I spend there, I taught I was made good efforts. I do think this boss didn't like me at start..lol I was receive the new sadly because after that fired... I was got a bad time to find another job..because of them

I never had the chance to get fired from my job.
I'm always the one who leave my job first. I don't
know why I don't stay long in a job maybe because I can
sense that they are going to fire me so I do it first.lol.

That is what Wal-Mart did to me, when I had cancer, they couldn't get a hole of me by phone, so when I went in the store one day, with my sister to use my discount card from Walmart, I notice my discount card would n't work, and I told my sister let me see did walmart fired me, and when I went to talk to the lady in personnel, that is what they did, fired me and she asked me, did I want to come back? I told her no, and a great weight was lifter off of my shoulders, because I didn't have to go back to that sorry store, any more they did me a favor.

Funny how people like to kick you when you're down.

I was laid off over a year ago from a good superintendent position. By the time my unemployment ran out, we had learned to live on what I can make from side jobs and my wife's salary so I returned to pursuing a lifelong goal. I got back to my writing and subsequently published four books early this year. I am in the middle of my latest novel now, hope to publish it in the next couple months.
