Filipino OFW is the top source dollar of the Philippines. National Statistics office the collective remittances of the overseas Filipino worker is the biggest contributor of dollar in the country in all other industry . This is simply because job markets abroad call for such occupations for Filipino worker. I hope the government will understand and realized the overseas Filipino worker who contributed the most dollar in the country in terms of remittances. The government should also find alternative work for the Filipino not only outside the country but inside the country.

That is why there are also many displaced families around. Family is supposed to stick around but because jobs cannot be found easily in our country one or both parents would resort to working abroad to provide for their children's future and most of the times they would tend to immigrate because life is just much better abroad than here. So what happens is that our country suffers the brain drain which at some point becomes bad for us. With job opportunities local I guess it is the call centers that are booming right now since the pay they give is pretty much higher than the regular day jobs. The only catch there is, is that you have to work on unholy hours of the day. Night Shift is what most this Outsourcing companies offer. But, in terms of pay and benefits they are good. For most younger generations they could afford to do this since they don't have families to tend to but for many families who are into this it is doubly hard since you are not around with your family in many times that you are needed.

I think the OFW also prefer to work outside the country because they offer them better pay. Anyway, I am with you when you say what the government should do. Let us just keep our fingers cross.

Yeah your right . Whatever we say the government could hardly do it . May be as this time election tome we should prefer ourselves hearing to many promises from politicians.

That is true. We know that OFWs provide the largest source of dollar for the Philippines, I think it's also one of the reasons why our GDP is increasing. However, the government should not continue this. Because we are losing all our people. All of them are out abroad finding jobs and leaving their current jobs here in the Philippines. As a result, we have less doctors, educators and etc. This practically means that younger kids won't have sufficient learning because our best teachers and other jobs are not here in the country. I think the government must do something in order for these people to stay in the country so that we will have development
