Since the Post Office is close to my work place, I like keeping a Post Box for my mails. I can then check my mail at lunch time. It is more convenient for me than having my mails delivered to my home.
Do you keep Post Box ? Or do you prefer mail delivered to you residence ?

Hey greenline! For me it is much more convenient to get my
mail at my home residence! I am usually at home sometime
during the day and I prefer to be able to either check my mail
either before I leave my house or when I get back home again!
I don't see the purpose for me to have a PO Box! It would be
more of an inconvenience for personally! I guess whatever
works for your best and is easier for you is the way to go!

Before, when my house was faraway from town area, i also keep a postal box for receiving my study materials. At that time, i was studying corresponding course while working full-time. Since, the post office is nearer to my office, so it's convenience for me to receive my study materials easier and faster. After i had completed my study, i had cancelled my postal box. Because it's very expensive, since we need to pay the rental annually..Now, i prefer my daily mails, delivered to my residential address, since i am at home most of the time...

I started renting a PO Box when I was selling stuff on eBay. I didn't want to use my actual address as you never know about the potential kooks out there. Since I cut back on selling, having a box seems like an expensive proposition although I do share it with a friend.

No, I don't keep a post box. It's just more convenient for me to check my mail at home. I have a long driveway and it's good exercise to walk to my mailbox. Also, I can check my mail as I pull in the driveway whenever I get home from wherever I've been. I also get my newspaper at the same time. I have a paper box next to the mailbox. Also, I don't have to pay a rental fee for a post box. Kathy.
