what to do and where to go during rainy season?

We're planning to go to Cagayan de Oro on August when the rain wouldn't be too harsh but the weather would still keep the tides up and bring in more fun:D Wet, but not too wet!

As for regular days, I prefer to either stay at home or hang out in the mall when it's raining. It's harder to appreciate the beauty of a place when the rain keeps on pouring down on us and we can't see our surroundings clearly because of the veil the rain makes. I'd rather watch movies while eating pop corn and a hot coco beside me:)

But if you really want to go somewhere new/nice then choose a place that rarely experiences such rainy seasons. Local place would be Palawan.
