Do you use film rolls or digital camera?

yeah you're right, gone are the days when we still use films for cameras. hehe
i am now using a sony digital camera. i like the digital ones because we could just delete immediately the pics taken without wasting a film shot.:) hehe

I use a digital camera, but I know what you're talking about. Are those kind of cameras expensive??

I use film occasionally, but it is too expensive to shoot with. And now with all the improvements of the digital SLR, I think digital is actually higher quality than film now.

But sometimes just for some old time fun I will pop a roll into my old SLR.

Not many people use rolls any more with all the digital cameras around...I have a sony digital camera I use all the time my self...Its a nice camera and you can either shot pitcures in black or white or use color...

It's true that film roll cameras are no longer, the hype; but technically speaking, I think those are better than the digital camera. My professor in our art class says that in manual cameras, you can manually adjust it to what you want creatively and you can even create a texture effect in films before it gets developed.. In digital cameras, the feature is more on the easy storage of the photos and less on the creative side of photo shooting.. However, I also find digicams good nowadays because I can easily adjust the settings with just a few clicks.. I tried light painting in digital camera, but not really what I expected to turn out.. But I guess regardless of what camera you use, what's more important is your creativity to capture things and stories in your camera..=D below is the light painting i made inside our classroom..=D i used a digital camera in executing this.. i just adjusted the aperture and shutter speed.. long exposure so that the camera will capture "star" i drew in the air using a flashlight.

I know what you are talking about I use to have a camera that took all kinds of rolls for pictures.Now I got a Fuji 480 digial camera which is great I use it allot

I use a digital camera. I love the convenience that comes with it, like not having to wait for my pictures to be developed. But at the same time digital cameras have made me rather slack in the picture taking department. Probably because my husband is always taking the batteries for it! The darn thing uses AA's...the same battery size for most of his hobby stuff.

Long ago I used film cameras. I took some classes in school and learned how to develop film and make prints and I really enjoyed it.

But like most I do digital now. I like being able to see the picture right away and deleting it if I don't like it. Plus I can reshoot it right away. By me being able to view it instantly I can see that it is too dark or light and make the correction on the camera.

Dont think in that way: Nothing is gone only people perception and usage has changed I use roll films regualarly and ofcourse digital too, but the color saturation, depth and more important is the logevity of the shots is more relaiable on a film format than the digital. Film has lived more than 150 years and still the images captured in the early 18th century, are far better than those images created on a digital ones. I agree digital is more convenient and easy to handle rather than the analog film formats. I love the reversal films which are the best.

I am using digital camera for many years already, the first digital cam that i bought was from canon, now i have new one but it was given by my hubby a sony digicam. Its more convenient to used digicam unlike the old way film rolls, you have to buy the films and print it afterwards. But here in digicam i dont print it much i just saved it to my laptop and print only whatever i need or want. I am glad that digicam was discovered really helps me and i alwaus bring it wherever i go so i can't miss something.
