Text books or Digital Books...Which one do you prefer??

I do think that digital versions of books are much more economically friendly and are easier to transport for students. But when I need to study something I feel like I get more out of the experience if I have an actual book which I can turn pages in! I don't know if it is just me that feels this way? Also I don't like looking at a computer screen too long as it strains my eyes.

in fact,i offten stay in front of monitor and i feel my eyes were very tied. i using computer to reading have been two year,for one thing ebook is more cheaper and stuff is very easy to seach by internet. for example, i want to buy an englishi noveal,but it's too costly to buy for me . but i still want to say that, nowdays,we using new technology replace lots of thing, but that do not mean we didn't need textbooks for ever. obvious, textbooks have many advantage. for exampe,textbook is more easy to widespread all over the world.in many developing country, too poverty to use computer but textbook.

I prefer text books compared with digital books, i guess i am still old fashioned but i am not used to these digital stuffs. One is my brother too prefers reading from computers rather than text books and i guess it depends on getting used to it. Compared with the financial status text books are more expensive but when it comes to durability i would vote for text books.

While I believe that E-books would be the cheaper route to go, I have always thought that text books are better. I hate when a teacher assigns some type of reading online because I can't highlight or make little notes in the margin to take with me to class. It's always been easier for me to read things on paper. It also helps with studying.

Well I'd prefer paper books any day. They are easier to read unless you have kindle that is. But money is always a factor. You can download an ebook in seconds and get reading for virtually zero money. But you need to buy a text book, pay money and then actually get down to reading it

well, the text book would better for studying even reading for learning anything
coz it would be better for your eyes for long time!!
it easy to carry I have no problem with that coz I would carry one
instead of five but, sometimes in this case the digital books can help!!^_^

I think I have the same opinion of that I have of downloading movies and music - I prefer to actually have them in front of me and owned and therefore with movies/ music I like to buy the DVDs and CD Albums! So I much prefer having the books. I'm not quite sure why. I suppose I just like to have something to show for my money.

I prefer to read books, physical books, because i somehow find it more fun and easier to read.

I would like a combination, I love the portability of ebooks. I have a Palm and read ebooks on their all of the time but when it comes to looking at pictures or formulas I prefer a text books.

I think all texts should come with the ebook as well as electronic quizzes that we can use. Imagine sitting in the doctor's office and being able to study instead of getting irritated or when standing in line at a grocery store...whip out the PDA and do some reviewing. Like digital index cards.

hmm...first of all i dont like reading..hehe...

i prefer text books for digital books as the latter puts a strain on our eyes..even though text books are heavy and cannot be easily carried they provide the perfect feeling for reading...
