This is a very interesting news, where i live we have electronic meters that can be remotely read and used to check power failures and varying the contract remotely. They are also used to have different prices in different hours.

There is an option in openoffice to directly send the document converted as pdf.
You just have to go in file menu -> send to -> email as pdf. The real names can be different since i don't have openoffice in english and i have translated them. |

I guess you will be free to use electricity whenever you want, you just have the option to wait until the energy price is cheaper.
If you use the washer in peak hour you will probably be charged twice as much than you would have been charged in off-peak hours.

A computer can use from 60w up to 350w, for the tv it depends on the technology used and on how much is the tv big. Plasma tv's are the most power-draining, lcd with led technology should be the one with less consumption, while tradition lcd and crt are in the middle.
