I think that my boyfriend is what you would call non denominational as well. I am not sure exaclty what it means other than you do not have a church maybe? I need a church and so do my girls I plan to get married soon so I think it is time to start attending a church and be what god wants me to be :)

A non denominational church is a Christian church that does not fully affiliate with any particular denomination (such as Catholic, baptist, AME, presbyterian, etc). Each church denomination has it's own set of rules and traditions that defines it as the denomination that it is. The non denominational church may take parts of its doctrine and traditions from some of the denominations as well as provide their own based on their understanding and interpretation of the bible. That is one reason why we are able to fellowship with most other denominations whereas some churches only fellowship within their own denomination.

I was christened and baptized Catholic but I don't follow the religion. I really don't know what religion to call myself. I believe in God, Heaven, Hell, answering for your sins to God, Judgement Day and prayer. I believe that if you live your life right and ask for forgiveness when you do wrong, that you will find peace and happiness when you die. I also believe that when I die I'll be reunited with those that I love. I also don't believe that you have to go to a church to pray and that many churches contradict themselves between what they do and say and what the Bible says.

I am not a Catholic but I have been to one of their chuches before with my aunt. I was raised a Baptist. I did not mind going to another church though. I was very young back then and do not recall alot about it.

No I am not a catholic but my brother in law is a catholic and a cousin's fiance is a catholic as well. Neither of them practice their beliefs though, atleast to my knowledge. My cousin and his fiance go to an episocpalian church but I am not quite sure of the beliefs of that church, so I can't say whether they are catholic or not. Most of the people in my family are christian, whether they practice their religion or not. My fiance's family is all christian that I know of, as well.
