Is it any surprise that there is corruption in an election? What are your thoughts of the actions taken on both sides? Should the Supreme Leader be held accountable for creating the hostilities? Would peace and calm come from accountability? What about the leaders in our government and communities?

I don't know what to think about Iran. I mean, sometimes I really resent that I'm one of those (shhh...) "conspiracy theorists", but afterall it's admitted fact that our government (right along with Brittain and big oil) overthrew their democratic pro-western government in 1953 for having the audacity to nationalize their very own oil fields. ...I don't want to be paranoid, but I wonder what part does our CIA play in this mess. Whether or not there's any role, I question what role any interference from the west may have--I say none. Afterall, our last president of this country called it's Constitution a "Godd***** piece of paper, and one through two very questionable elections, and it looks like this socialist we got now may not even be Constitutionally elegible for the position. There's a proverb, I think it's German but I'm not sure... Anyway, we should sweep off our own porch before worrying about the neighbor's... DR...

I agree, but I fear that the truth will show that our country is completely bought and paid for. The last clown, this one, several back, and anymore we have--I'm afraid their all corporate/AIPAC/CFR/NWO-owned. DR...

I've often said that the terrorist is in our own back yard. I feel that our previous president is a traitor for the actions of the people who defiled our nation under his leadership.

We are all responsible for continuous monitoring of our elections to ensure we do still have voice in our Democracy. It is definitely true that "peace and calm come from accountability", but that accountability extends to everyone, not just the leadership. I have to ask, in this case, who will be holding the Supreme Leader accountable? This is the Iranian equivalent of The Pope in Vatican City. A person with the title "Supreme Leader" is not going to get held accountable for anything by anyone. Except, of course, Allah, whom the Supreme Leader apparently has on speed dial. The people of Iran could rise up and hold him accountable, but that is a bloody route that would have nothing to do with "peace and calm". Good luck, Iran. See ya on the other side.

Well, I think that the election in Iran was crooked, and I knew the outcome before it happened. Just like ole Chavez with his election. Birds of a feather and all of that old garbage: http://www.etaiwannews.com/etn/news_content.php?id=974925&lang=eng_news&cate_img=83.jpg&cate_rss=news_Politics Iran’s probably going to end up having a revolution on their hands, which much blood shed before all of this is over with.
