I never paid much attention to vintage patterns etc. Yesterday my daughter came to me and ask me to make a hat. Well, she explained it was hat like a net. I did some research and found a snood online. She said that's what she wanted. I am going to try to make it for her. It looks like its really easy to make. Have you made a snood? Do you crochet any vintage items?

I've never made a snood. I don't know that I or anyone else would wear one to be honest other than if it was a beautiful beaded one to go with a special outfit.
I don't really make anything "vintage" but you know some of the basics have been around so long they are somewhat "vintage".

I don't do well with things that become 3dimensional like hats, mitten, socks ect. Blankets I can figure out the rest is lopsided *LOL*
I also am not a fan of hats, I have a big noggin & most never fit or look right so no bother

I like vintage everything designs! I especially like the elegant ladies fashions of the 1930s and 40s.
