Do you sleep with your phone besides you? |
|
Hello friends, Cellphones have become an integrated part of our life. Wherever we go our cellphone follows. I can't even sleep without it near me. Do you sleep with your mobile phone besides you? Well, I asked this question to many of my buddies and many answered in the affirmative. What is your answer?

32. lexus54 (2665) | 7 months ago | I don't sleep with my cellphone next to me. I refuse to let the cellphone rule my life, so before I sleep, I will usually turn the cellphone off. I don't want to have to take calls or SMSes during my sleeping hours. If a situation is so urgent, the people who need to contact me know my home telephone number, and they can call me on my home phone. Anyway, I usually don't get calls overnight.

33. candy2306 (471) | 7 months ago | Hi Xpertcomments, I do carry my mobile phone wherever I go. I'm using the phone as an alarm to wake up. But I am aware of the dangerous wave that a mobile produce. Therefore, I place my cell phone on the side table next to my bed and not close to myself.
If you are keeping the cell phone next to you while sleeping, please remember it's really not healthy. Try avoiding to keep to close to yourself.

34. astonysh (1853) | 7 months ago | A few years back, my wife used to insist on keeping hers on the bedside table. This stopped after endless complaints from me about it ringing (very loudly) at ridiculous hours of the night, and as she tends to talk loudly when using the 'phone as well .... She is a much better person at falling asleep than I am. Consequently I would sometimes be woken up at two thirty in the morning by all this commotion, and not be able to get back to sleep, and, as I was working at the time, this could have a damaging affect on the job I was doing at the office. My own mobile 'phone usually gets switched off quite early in the evening - I can always catch up on calls the following morning. These days my wife has learned to switch hers off before going to bed as well. I would advise anyone who thinks that sleep is important, and does not have time to catch up on sleep during the day to do the same.

37. harshrosicky (258) | 7 months ago | I can't sleep without my cell phone beside me....you never know when it starts ringing and i get sms all night long.....recently i was sleeping and my phone slid beneath me and my sweat went inside. Though it was a new set and under warranty, still i had to pay a fortune to get it fixed. It so happened that the company doesn't pays for the liquid imbreach and unfortunately my swweat was also considered liquid. My keypad was gone and the display screen was ruined but still after getting it fixed i sleep keeping it beside me.....i think its addictive.

I even have the ringer turned way down when I sleep and until I get up in the morn . I know that there might be an ER and if there is the person will keep calling and I can even hear the low ring, and then I can pick up the phone and answer it. When on a trip tho my phone is always on, and sometimes the vibe .
