Do you sleep with your phone besides you? |
|
Hello friends, Cellphones have become an integrated part of our life. Wherever we go our cellphone follows. I can't even sleep without it near me. Do you sleep with your mobile phone besides you? Well, I asked this question to many of my buddies and many answered in the affirmative. What is your answer?

42. gdesjardin (302) | 6 months ago | Oh heck no! I actually am one of the few people that hate my cell phone. When I first got a cell phone (way back when) I loved it. I loved the fact that I could get ahold of someone and they could get ahold of me. Now, I can't stand that someone can track me down regardless of where I am at. Yuck! If I slept with my phone I don't think I would ever get any sleep. Lately I even turn off my cell phone about 9:00 just to get a break.

44. believerachel (613) | 6 months ago | I usually keep my phone turned on and I shove it under my pillow. It has my alarm clock on it so I need to have to with me, or at least that's the excuse I use.:)

45. Jemina (2558) | 6 months ago | Cellphones should be for our convenience and having it next to me in bed is something I consider an invasion of my privacy. I mean, I'm supposed to be resting when sleeping and so I wouldn't want to be disturbed. If I have to use the alarm in my phone I have to turn the phone off or at least set it on silent mode with vibrations off.

Jemina (2558) | 6 months ago | I posted my comment too quickly. Anyway, I wanted to add that having the cellphone near you could actually be hazardous to health especially if it is on because of the radiation it emits.

Jemina (2558) | 6 months ago | If you are referring to an article or information you gathered online it is always proper to link back to them. In fact myLot guideline "Now for the Don'ts" point number 7 states "Post copyrighted articles or photos please link to them. DON’T post copyrighted photos at all."

47. Ingkingderders (1069) | 6 months ago | I do sleep with my phone beside me, cause I need it so that I'll know the time when I wake up. We have no wall clock or any clock in our room so that's why I use my phone. LOL. Plus, I keep thinking that someone might call, like an emergency or something, and I want to be able to wake up to answer the call. I'm not afraid that it will fall off my bed cause I put it near the wall.=)

48. lingli_78 (10199) | 6 months ago | no i don't... i don't want to be disturbed when i am sleeping... so i keep my phone in my bag... sometimes i even put it in a silent mode because i get really irritated and annoyed when it rings when i am sleeping... if it is a very important call, the caller can always call me to my homephone... that's when i know that it is really important and i will pick it up... take care and have a nice day...

| 49. BrunetteRyder (13) | 6 months ago | Haha. Never thought this would be a discussion. But I would have to say, yes. My cell phone "sleeps" next to me while it is on the charger every night under my pillow. I know it sounds weird, but I have a lot of friends that like to call in the middle of the night if they want to talk about somethings (usually if it's troubling them) so my phone is on all the time. So yes, my phone "sleeps" next to me in case if anyone needs to get a hold of me.:)
