Hi mylotters! Well I had my baby almost 5 months ago and I still have not gotten serious about lossing the extra weight I gained. But today I am going to start since pretty soon I'm going to need extra energy to chase my baby around. I just want to know what methods have you guys used that worked besides diet pills or non natural stuff. Thanks for any responses in advance and happy mylotting!

First of all, congratulations! As for dieting, I like the "Special K Challenge". The food is very yummy, you can buy it at your local grocery store, there's enough of a variety of foods to choose from, and it's very easy for me to follow. Like most diets, it's not a long term fix or anything like that. But if you're trying to lose baby weight, it's a good solution!

I don't have any method to follow on my diet. I just eat normal as i do. More carbohydrates, vegetables and fruits. I seldom eat meat maybe twice a week as im not keen on meat. I agree with you that chasing baby is a difficult job and it really requires you more strength and energy. Just don't be so conscious on your diet, just do it in natural way. Keep posting.

I had really good results from eating a low carb/high protein diet about 7 years ago and lost 25 pounds which I have more or less kept off. Low carbing gets you off of processed sugar...you eat a lot of lean meat and you can also eat cheese, cottage cheese and some vegetables. I modeled my diet based on the Atkins diet. The induction period is fairly strict but you don't starve yourself like you do on a low fat diet. I drank a lot of no carb, flovored water and never felt that I was starving. Exercise is also very helpful when you're on a diet because it gets your heart rate up, helps to tone your body and you look and feel better sooner. Good luck!

Congrats~~~ (even 5 months ago, since I just read it, I considered it new) Losing weight is hard. I don't take any pills cause I am afraid of the side effect. Still, I managed to lose a couple of kg by doing things like: 1 - No more dinner after 7 pm. If I need to eat something after that, it will something light like fruits. 2 - Don't skip meals, always, or least try to eat on time. 3 - Don't miss breakfast. 4 - Sleep early. I used to be a night owls. Now I'll try to finish my work before 12 and then, goes to bed. 5 - I am a Muslim so fasting is one of another solution. This work the best. Still, don't overeat after losing the weight. Good luck~~~
