The Filipino community is alive and well, and well all over the world. Los Angeles felt like home. Why, There's even a mall devoted to all pinoy products Island Pacific Supermarket will relieve you of any homesickness, if any. In LA there's top pinoy DJ a top pinoy broadcaster, a top Pinoy designer, a top Pinoy everything. Some of them started with something, others started with nothing. Goes to show that Pinoys can Rise and respond wherever we land.

I agree with you on this one wholeheartedly. I believe Filipinos can rise up to any challenge wherever they are. Pinoys are hardy and highly adaptable. Whatever the obstacle is, Filipinos can overcome them anytime. Mabuhay ang Pinoy!

Hmm, of course. That is because when we are subjected to a foreign country we tend to do our best because if not, we will not survive. When you are in a foreign country, you don't know anyone. You find it hard to adapt on the weather, language, food and etc. So, this shows that in order to survive, they need skill so they rise up as the top DJ, designer and etc. It's like the situations of the Chinese/Koreans and other foreign nationalities in the Philippines. They don't know anyone, they don't know the language. So what they do to survive is to do business and in business, you don't need language to exchange goods and services you just need money.. and look where are the Chinese and Koreans are now here in the Philippines, they are successful.
