Marry someone who is less educated than you? What is your view?

It's okay as long as he loves you and cares for you. What matters is that you're happy:D

That's not a problem for me why because when you to are married you will help each other how to manage and control your own family you will help each other no matter what happen right it didn't requires any degree in education. Love know's no bounderies marrying a person didn't require any educational degree it requires true love.

My ex didn't have a degree but I do. It was a problem for us because he tried to make me feel bad about it. I don't think that is the case for everyone.

marriage is really a bad institution..i don't like getting married to someone for a life time.

You are blessed with a spouse even if he only finished primary school. There are a lot of people who are married to highly educated men with degrees and doctorate education, but their marriage is totally wrecked or about to collapse. If I have a choice, I would rather marry someone who did not finish high school or college but a humble and caring person than someone who finished a degree but doesn't have the love and affection for me. I regret to have married a degree holder!!!!

I think when you are in love it does not matter. I have a BA, and my BF High School. It does not have any bearing on our relationship at all. One of my girl friends marry a guy, who had a high school diploma. She kept the marriage quiet for 2 months from her sorority sisters. She felt they were going to treat her differently if she told them. Well, she came clean about the marriage. They have being married now for 10 years. She said she is very happy, and is sorry for how she acted initially.

Hmmm well to marry someone with less education than me would mean marrying someone who left school early. I finished Secondary school, gave the next level a go but didn't fit in and left because I didn't enjoy it at all, I only went there because a friend did, so not the right reasons at all.

A couple of years later I went to University, but left for the same reasons. My boyfriend's mum called me a quitter behind my back. What some people don't realise is me plucking up the couurage to go to University in the first place was a huge thing for me. I am shy, and if I am not shy then it is my confidence that will get me down, I have low self esteem and I don't think I am approachable to other people, so I have not done well with keeping on with Education.

I think I will find something in life but at the moment my education comes through every day life.. So hopefully if I find a man I love to marry he wouldn't say no because I had less of an Education. Anyway, I have many great life skills!

I would want someone who I can talk to intelligently but sometimes there are other things at work like sexual attraction and this can be a powerful thing. Cheers!!

I didn't go past high school myself, so there wouldn't be that many less educated than me. I don't think it matters, as long as you're on the same page as to what you want out of life, and you get along. I would want a person who's on the same level of conversation and interested in talking about the same things, but that doesn't necessarily have anything at all to do with education.
