how u treat a snorer?

I do not snore. And I have proof!
I stayed awake one night last week and I did not snore once.

If you care about the person; then the snoring will not matter.

wake him up and let him know he is snoring. often they are simply sleeping in the wrong position.

My boyfriend of 7 years snores especially when he is super tired. Sometimes it doesn't bother me at all. But lately, i haven't been getting any sleep and his snoring is making it worse. So, when he snores, i elbow him and wake him up or cover his face with a pillow!

my girlfriend kindly lets me know i snore, and tells me what she does to me while im sleeping. pokes me, prods me, she says the best way is to just stop my breathing but she says just rolling me over stops the noise. i snore heaviest when i'm drunk (so i've been told) safe to say my problem seems to be alcohol and position (lying on my back) in the past ive dealt with snorers myself with pretty grim methods..

hi shibham, i've learnt several tip for snorer to reduce to sound:

1. Use hard pillows only.
2. Sleep without pillow is the best.
3. If the snorer is over-weight, losing weight will help.
4. Try not to sleep on back. (side or chest is good)
5. Put on a nasal-strip before heading to bed.
6. Take a little bit of honey before sleeping.

I found No.2 works the best for my spouse!

there is no special way to treat a snorer because snoring looks like a natural thing, the only way to treat him is to tell him that he should take his dinner meals very early in the evening, you do this politely without hurting his feelings, it will also eb ideal to let a snorer know that his sleeping patterns must be changed

you can help a snorer by simply telling him the benefits of taking his supper very early in the evening so that his digestive systems would have digested the food, tell him that he should take care of his sleeping patterns by laying on his chest and not on his back, these are some of the ways of reducsing snoring

My father sometimes snores when he is tired of working for a day, sometimes not. I do not know why bcos if you are a snorer you may snore every night. But my father does not. I asked many people before how to treat when someone snores, The most interesting answer is 'i can not sleep without the snores when i live with a snorer for a long time'.

I know that I snore. And therefore if someone near me is snoring like anything I would nudge him and that would stop the sound for quite some time and by that time I would be in the great slumber.

I am positively sure that I'm not snorer. Even though I don't hear myself snore when I sleep - I ask my parents and my siblings if I snore when they watch me sleep and they all say no. So I guess there is a way to be sure that you don't snore:)

I don't mind being in the same room as a snorer. Both of my parents snore and I grew up staying in their room (although I had my own mattress) so I'm comfortable with it. I never had trouble sleeping in the first place so I guess that's one reason. I find it more difficult to sleep when someone's watching the television - probably because of the flashing light from the screen.
