I don't know about loosing weight with most of the games. But Dance dance Revolution helps people loose weight and that's on every system.

I think it works just like any other exercise. It is possible to lose weight but you also have to eat right. I just got a wii fit a little over a week ago with my wii. So the only exercise game I have right now is the one that came with it. On it there is yoga, strength training, aerobics, and balance games. You definitely can feel it working when you use it. I am hoping to have the money for some more games soon.

Yes, it's probably possible but only if someone wants to do it. Think many aren't that into exercising it will probably just be one more thing people buy and don't use much. I haven't tried wii fit myself but it is probably hard to make a game that is fun enough to keep people using it for exercise.

I know three people who have done that successfully. It's exercise they enjoy, so they don't skip working out. I want one like crazy if it could only be affordable!
