Before you say other religions are false, have you even studied other religions?

I do not call any religion false, I do say that they do have false leaders at times. and yes I have studied many many religions, well most of them have been gone for a few thousand years, but you can learn alto about today's religions by looking at the ancient ones.

Its true many say that their religion is the true one and rest are false. those who preach his alone is the right one has a peculiar theory - they are the chosen ones, the believers and rest are heathens/kafirs, the non-believers. this kind of teaching is peculiar to semetic religions alone.
"whatever ones' faith, if it makes us better human beings, that alone is good", Said Sree Narayana Guru of India. No prophet, messaiah or savior of any god ever said such a simple truth. No books given by god could contain such a truth.
"One caste, One Religion, One God for Mankind" - Sree Narayana Guru. He stressed on the whole humanity, while religions spoke in terms of chosen people and non-believers.
Major religions of the world and their prophets has a lot to learn from this great Seer Sree Narayana Guru. Statements made by Sree Narayana Guru are of spiritual in nature.
It is foolishness to say mine alone is truth, rest is false. Such statements reveal the immaturity of not just the person but also of the religion concerned.
Let me make a personal statement - not all religions preach or teach the same basic message. i prefer to disagree with all who says the basic message is same. if that was the case, why humanity is divided on such a silly issues of religion and god? the religion which divided humanity in terms of believers and non-believers were the one that indulged in large scale man-slaughter for more than two thousand years.
religions that depend on violence, converting people cannot offer much in term of spirituality as that is not what they are into. spirituality is an internal process and an individual journey. spirituality is not into conversion or any kind of rituals.
whenever one comes across something bad in any religion, it should be pointed and should criticize it. a proper study of each religion will enable us to critically analyze what is good and bad with each religion.

I dont beleive any religion is false
religion is a matter of faith and faith is personal
its true to the one that has faith in it
I have studied many religions and there is truth to all of them
they all have very similar structures and all teach the same basic message

Studied comparative religion in college. It was a two semester course that spent one semester studying all the major world religions and the other semester studying the major branches of Christianity. It gave me a good background for understanding other people. I do know what I believe and why I believe it. That being said though I am always learning.

I have studied many other religions. I believe that this is what God wants. He doesn't want people to follow him just from routine or from what other people say. This is what my mother has said also. You learn from other religions about your own. The novel "Life of Pi" is a good example of this.
