It is quite warm here in Manitoba. We went from winter to summer. We do have the airconditioning on, and I can stand the heat more then the cold. I usually wear a sleeveless teeshirt and a skort or a skirt, go bare legged, and wear sandals. I also drink a lot of water and make sure I walk where it is cooler. The trouble is that I also get wind burn, but as for sun protector, I do not like using them as I do not know if the chemicals inside would have a prolonged adverse reaction in the future, and I do not like wearing long skirts and hats (although some of them a quite pretty) but I do wear sun glasses.
I do make out okay. I take a long time to tan but it stays over winter.

I think it is best to protect you from the inside. I know that tomatoes, esp. tomato sauce has something inside to protect you from the damaging effects of the sun and believe it, there are some people who do not look good pale and they can go out in the sun and not get the damaging effect that someone with a similar coloring but on the orange or yellow spectrum. And thanks for the best response.
