We all knew that Farrah Fawcett was suffering and dying from anal cancer and she passed today. I remember her in her heyday. She turned into an excellent actress after a while.
The shocker (yet to be 100% confirmed at this writing) is that Michael Jackson has apparently died. It seems, according to reports, that he suffered cardiac arrest. How sad for some who is still so young. He was an icon in music, no matter how weird he could be in his life. He changed the face of music and videos.
My prayers are for both families and their friends.

What a sad day in the United States. It is a day of mourning! We have lost two icons in the celebrity world. Both of these people deserve stars high in the sky as they have given so much of themselves to the world.
Farrah and Michael were both well known and well loved members of society. It is such a stunning day in history!
I feel sorry for Ryan and the Jackson family as well as Michaels' children. What will happen to them now as they have not had their mothers in their lives.

Very sad, too, because both had parents who outlived them and burying a child, no matter the age, is the most difficult thing. Ed McMahon was sad, too, but he at least lived a long life.

Yes, but they are married in their hearts. I hope that he and his son, and her father, all get through it. It was not unexpected, so that is a help, in a way. MJ was just a shock.

It already happened, before them this week, Ed McMahon (Johnny Carson - Tonight Show, Star Search, etc.).
