RIP Farrah Fawcett and Shame On You CNN!

to me both of their deaths are shocking
I remember Farrah from charlie's angels
I was very young when I watched it on TV she was always fresh full of smile
don't know much of her other movies and I don't watch TV here so I didn't know they made that remark
a thing of the past? well so was MJ wasn't he?
he was more well known to some generation probably but there must be people my age who remembers Farrah:(

i agree.. i mean at least one of the channels thursday did an interview on both (i think it was nbc) but yeah as soon as i heard mj had died i of course was sad over it but then i did think about how so many people wont even care now about farrah or ed that died a couple of days ago.. its sad that they cant be more fair.. sure farrah isnt as popular as mj but she has been a legend also just in a different area and at least there wasnt as much scandals with her etc..

im not saying one person is better than the other but i believe its horrible they couldnt make it more fair.. especially since they are NEWS channels.. of course channels like mtv will only care about mj.. but that makes sense..

I can't get teary-eyed over Farrah simply because her heyday came and went long before I was born, so she really wasn't in the spotlight by the time I came along. Michael Jackson was--I grew up listening to his songs and watching his videos; he was one of my favorite singers of all time. Really, if you look at it, Michael was much more of an icon than she ever was or will be.
I'm sorry about the way she died--cancer is a horrible way to go, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. But...her death was something that was imminent, everyone pretty much knew it would be any day. Michael's death was not. That's probably part of the reason why Farrah's been pushed to the side and Michael elevated to top priority.
