Downloading torrents through a proxy server!  | |  Hello everone. I'm studying out of town and stay in a hostel, so I have to access the net through a proxy server. It seems that torrents cannot de downloaded through a proxy server. I've tried a couple of methods to bypass the proxy for downloading torrents, but they were mostly unsuccessful.
Could anyone suggest me a good way to download torrents through the proxy server??

Imagine a situation where many users downloading torrents through the same proxy server. This will cause the server to grind to a halt. This is the main reason why proxy servers do not allow torrent downloading through them.
