Is wrestling in WWE real?or just an act?

Hey shnsun...WWE is the thing of the past for me....i used to watch WWE many years ago...nowadays i don't watch it...about WWE it is purely entertainment..it is all business...wrestlers are paid for wrestling in the way they are told to,so that it becomes like a drama and people keep watching them interestingly....the all things that happen in WWE is preplanned...and about those moves, they train very hard and do it using certain techniques that it looks real but are infact fake...and the referees also play a vital role in this drama...but i have to they show it in very good way and makes you feel that it is real...but reality is that it is business and is designed purely for entertainment...so next time you see WWE look closely...who knows you might spot something strange.....

yes.. Even wrestling comes under scripted storyline, there are lot of risk too in performing. Wrestling haters simply say that wrestling is fake. they never agree the risks, which wrestlers have during the stunt. nobody can forget the match happened at backlash 2004 Randy orton vs Mic foley. also the hell in a match of Undertaker Vs Brock, Undertaker Vs foley, where foley accidentally fell from top of the cell.
The fights may be fake. But Injuries are always real.
Rarely, in some cases, when wrestlers need a long term leave, they use the storyline like wrestlers getting injuries. those injuries may be fake.

Hi shnsun.I am one of the biggest fan of WWE ever.Well there are lots of time when it makes everyone wonder that it is fake but only few know about the reality.Well if I say that Mr.X will fight against Mr.Y.How will you feel?But then if I create a big story that Mr.X embarrasses Mr.Y in front of his family and even slapped her wife.Then they have this long feud.And after one month finally Mr.Y will get a chance to get his hands on Mr.X.So now how would you feel about the match.So just to create anxiety among the audience and make the fight interesting for the audience they make this drama.But remember one thing once the bell rings its all real.

Hi shnsun,I have been a die hard fan of wrestling specially World Wrestling Entertainment for a long long time and yes you heard it right,it is indeed a fake thing.But,indeed it is a good entertainer and do not forget these wrestlers have to go under hard training to perform day and night in front of a large audience.

World Wrestling Entertainment is an entertainment show as the word entertainment implies. Most of the acts like those talking and funny moves are practiced to entertain the audience. During the fight, I think that most of it are real, especially during championship matches. The mat is covered with a cushion to protect the performers. But lately, it has gone bad and sour and is not suited anymore for young audiences!

I think that the majority of it is staged, but I am sure that some of the injuries are real. For example, Owen Heart really did die while performing a stunt.
In my opinion, WWE wrestling has gone from fairly believable wrestling to nothing more than a violent soap opera. I used to watch it all the time, but once it became so dramatized, I stopped. Whatever happened to the good old days??

I don't know if the wrestling is fake or real but i definitely know that its predecided who is gonna win and who is gonna lose.Happy mylotting.

i never liked it and never will..
i wonder why people watch a crap like that...its thing of the past...no one will believe it for real...

I dont know about you but i dont think they are not real. They are trained to fight like this yes but then boxers are trained to fight the way they do and the steel in steel cage matches is real, chair they hit opponent with is real and everything else is real though they do make a lot of noise but they are real. Also it is done in front of thousands of fans in stadium and i dont think they would buy the audience too and sooner than later the big ego of wrestler would come in play and he wont loose to just anyone because boss said so and now it is over 60 years old and if there was any hanky panky they atleast one wrestler would have said hey we fought unreal and i was told to do so. Over 1000s of wrestlers have participated in various WWE matches till date.. none blew the whistle..unbelievable.
