The 18 player football squad was dropped from AYG roster one of its members tested positive for influenza A(H1N1) along with Hong Kong which registered three cases of the dreaded virus last week. These player were quarantined for seven days then allowed to play a friendly with Singapore which ended in a 2 all count.

That is sad to know that they were not allowed to play. But maybe the Swine Flu paranoia was in effect with the organizers of that competition. Although there was no specific rules about it but then I can understand the standpoint of the organizers since they want to avoid infection further to others that are not infected by the virus.
