tea vs coffee?

I used to prefer coffee more than anything else but now that I can feel the negative effects of coffee, having chest pains, I now preferred tea. Good lately theres milk tea available, I found it as a good substite for coffee.

I am also a tea lover and i agreed that tea tastes nicer than coffee. I seldom drink coffee because of the strong smell. I prefer to drink tea, and i drink it everyday. I drink tea 2 - 3 times in a day. Sometimes, i also drink more than 3 times a day, added sweet condensed milk to it. It makes tea tastes greater....

I think most of the north indians prefer tea over coffee, But else everywhere in the world coffee is liked more, though it has more bad effects. Its eveb drinked more than water. No.1 drink, you know..
I too am a tea lover, and it does come in my morning routine to have a cuppa tea.( else i do have haeaaches too, an ill efffect of addition )

Tea and Coffee are both brain stimulants. I used to like tea a lot before I discovered the flavour in coffee. Ofcouse tea is better than coffee in terms of health conscerns as tea is an antioxidant and help in oxidising free radicals in the body. But tea causes gastritis as compared to the coffee. I like to drink coffee early in the morning and tea later in the day.

For me its tea anytime. I don't like the taste of coffee so much. Having a cup of tea really refreshes me up. For me tea with tons of sugar wow i just love it. My mom always screams at me saying you'll diabetics but who listens hehe.

I drink alot more tea than coffee. In fact I can't even remember the last time I had coffee! I drink green tea alot and fruit tea but there's nothing like English breakfast tea in the morning! I try not to drink that too much though as I only like it with alot of sugar in and that's quite unhealthy.

Hi Voldrox.Tea indeed is a better choice as it is more healthy.coffee drinking is almost like taking a drug though in very little dose.We take drugs to lose consciousness while we take coffee to get back consciousness from sleep.Though I like the taste of coffee more I prefer tea most of the times.

Coffee naturally contains caffeine -- about 100 mg in a single cup. Espresso also contains 100 mg, and a grande latte or cappuccino 150 mg.

A can of cola or diet cola contains 45.6 mg, and a single fizzy energy drink has 80 mg. Tea can have caffeine as well, about 50 mg in black tea and 15 mg in green. Even decaf coffee still has five milligrams of caffeine per 8 oz cup.

The bottom line is that drinking two cups of coffee, or three to four cups of tea a day can be safely recommended. Remember, moderation in any form of consumption is the key to good health.
