Which one do you prefer Physical Appearance or Personality?

Hello. For me, i prefer more the personality of a person, physical appearance maybe deceiving, though he/she looks kind but how will u know the truth if u didn't know his/her personality and just judging by the way he/she looks. I strongly agree to u. Personality is more important because good looks fade in due time but a good personality remains as long as the person will not change it. After all, if you're really a true friend or a bf/gf, your friend/bf/gf will always look good for you because you know them based on their good personality.

i prefer personality. personality is defined s the organized totality of the individual which includes physical characteristics, habits and values...
so you see, if you have the personality, i mean good personality its more better than just a good physical appearance...
coz if you have a good personality..its like you got it all...

It's natural to be first attracted by ones physical attributes. But the physical attributes don't always represent the person underneath. The person may appear attractive but underneath they may be the opposite. Same with public personalities they are nice on camera & cold when the camera goes off.

So I guess like anyone we are attracted by looks but in the end personality wins over looks I every time unless you are interested in the person for your own financial gain ect.

Good physical appearance play a very less role in this regard.I do look at or stare at strangers with good looks.But thats all..Its hard to guess their personality..
In general, its quiet natural to get attract to a person with a good personality,certainly if you came to know that person..
I like people with a pleasing personality.
I have seen many good looking,well groomed, unpleasant people,who are around me,with a personality that puts me into a bad mood.. Its hard to say good or bad about them..But certainly something is there that sucks!!!!!!!

It's wisdom that says that you should go for the personality. Someone can be physically attractive and have all the personality of rock or wet mop whereas the person that you think isn't as attractive has a very good personality.

Looks are important though because if the person is really hard to look at, then you're likely not going to be happy even if they have a nice personality. But if they just look average, their personality can make them very attractive. Remember, looks do also fade.

At first, I prefer Physical Appearance. Who doesn't want to have good looks?
In my experience, I find someone who is good looking and start to know her.
As time passes by, my preference changes. Personality starts to be a preference. Even if the girl is very beautiful, if she doesn't have a good personality, eventually my feelings will change.

Too sum up my post, Physical Appearance is the preference but Personality is a requirement.:)

Well being human and being male for that matter, I am admit that I admire people most especially if they appear great. But just like you, as I know the person more, personality then matters a lot and in fact I prefer a good personality rather than good appearance with a nasty personality.

It takes both really. Someone could have the most gleaming personality in the world, but if you aren't physically attracted to them not much will happen. Likewise someone could be drop dead gorgeous, but if you can't stand to be around them for more than 5 seconds.. it's still not going anywhere.

I would be more willing to overlook the physical than I would the personality but if the person kept up an appearance that made it obvious they didn't really care about themselves physically.. i would have to wonder if they had the type of personality I look for. Most people that are confident and self-assured and love themselves (all things that I look for in a guy) take care of themselves well.

I am always attracted to people by their appearnce first, but in the long run, personality is definately way more important.

I prefer personality. Although I am going to contradict myself, the first thing I want to see in girls is good appearance, idk maybe because I am still young lol, but the point is personality lasts forever and appearance do not. For example, if a girl is good looking, but with little or no personality, what will she have in the future?
