i was just like you when i had my son..Its kinda exciting being a mom..I couldn'nt take away my eyes and just stared at my baby the first time i saw him..And could'nt be able to paint the smile i have on my face..

Congratulations! It is a shame that you and the mother are not together to join in this baby's life and share all the experiences together, but everything happens for a reason and I am sure it will all be fine.
Daughters are such precious gifts (as are sons). I am sure that you will be the forever protecxtive and dotting Daddy that your little girl will always look up to.
