| The new American penny is here.  | | | |  Today at work a customer gave me some pennys. The penny was shiny new, and surprisingly much lighter than the older pennies. That was jsut a reality check for me because as we all know China basically owns us. We are so in debt with them they call the shots now. Our pennies are lighter that they feel like toy money. It makes a hollow ching when I toss it on the table.
Well, this is just the first step. We shall see what our money looks like in the year 2010.

| |  I actually haven't seen these yet! But now I'm certainly excited to. I didn't even know they were making new pennies. I don't really understand what China has to do with our new money.. Care to explain more?
And it's really interesting to see older bills now that so many of the newer ones are in circulation. I think at work I got an old $20 and it was really weird to see!

| | Basically, since Obama has been in office he has used up all our money and borrowed trillions from China. We are at negatives here in the US. China has basically owned us by now, they call the shots and if we dont follow rules they can hurt us really badly. The first sign of this that I've seen is that the penny weighs less. It looks the same, it just weighs less. It's in comparason to the regular pennies made in 2008 and 2007. Chinese fen is very light, now the us penny is also very light. Usually our change is very heavy because of the material it is made up of. It signifies our wealth.
