Purses  

I always carry in my purse a small sewing kit consisting of a medium sized needle, two small bobbins of thread (one black and one white) and a small scissors. Actually, I've learned to carry them ever since my kid was in grade school. He often got snugs on his uniform due to some clumsy activities. And since I am a doting mother on his early age, I accompany him in school. But now, he's a young teenage hunk he would shoo away my kit whenever I insist him to keep it on his bag telling me "Mom I'm no kid anymore I can handle my clothes well okay?" hahahaha

I carry two plastic chips in my purse...one is blue and one is red...one represents a free beer and one represents a free mixed drink. The problem my husband and I have when we go out to our local bar is that friends want to buy us a drink and, if we already have one, the bartender puts a chip in front of us. I stuck these two in my purse about two years ago because we had already had enough and just carry them around. I call them my "Emergency Drinking Chips" and I may never use them. If our only bar ever closes down they will be keepsakes since they have their name stamped on them.

My dad had a long beard. When he became terminally ill, he asked my mum to cut it for him. I carry a small silver locket which contains some of that beard. I also have the usual stuff like paracetemol, plasters, spectacle repair ki, tissues...

I carry a library card from another state. It has been in my purse for about 6 years and I just never think about taking it out even when I clean my purse out. I think that I will tomorrow if I don't get busy and forget.

thats pretty cool. i only have a baid aid in mine thats my first aid kit. one thing i cary um not much in there. a note book just for watever. n 2 mirrors one that lights up n another i just use to let the person whose with me see them self. sometime i like having 2 mirrors cause its faster to find one in my purse if u have 2 to choose from.

I always have in my purse, particularly inside my vanity kit, a very small booklet of paper soaps. Yep, paper soap. It somewhat looks like an oil control paper but it has a wax-like surface and when you rub your hands on it under running water, you'll see that it lathers up. I have a tendency to be OC so even if I have a bottle of hand sanitizer and rubbing alcohol in my purse, I still make sure my pad of paper soap is always tucked inside my vanity kit.

I also carry a small first aid kit as well as a 'hotel' kit. It has shampoo, deodrant, toothbrush. Just in case I get stranded somewhere I keep my self together.

Besides a small complete sewing kit with buttons and baby pins (my zips always broke!!!), I have a lucky charm that I think is more than 100 years old. It's made of mother pearl and belonged to my granddad who was extermely superstitious and had all the possible charms to bring himself luck. I am not but I still like to have a piece of him with me.
