The advantages and disadvantages of being a single

Not many singles have a lot of free time. Yet if they choose to, they can have the time for everything. Singles doesn't need to think of how to deal with a husband, the kids, and all those stuff. Singles are free to go wherever they wish to go. Singles don't need to think of family problems because they don't have one. Singles, when they reach old age, starts to be problematic because they don't have someone to take care of them!

When you are single, I believe you are surrounded by a dream that you never know who is just around the corner and is meant for you.

see, my problem is that i love being single but i also love being in a realtionship. but when ive been in a realationship at soem point i need a break to know if i truly want to be with them, but if you try doing that then u might lode them forever. any solutions?

Eversince I got single... I have a lot more time for myself. I have learned to pamper myself, which i failed to do in past relationships, because then... I needed to think about my partner before doing anything. Like, going to a spa is something I have to plan... because there's the two of us... now, I can do that anytime. Everything I earned is spent only for me and my son. I have learned to put priotrity for us alone.

The only off part about it... is my child, growing without a partner, unlike most children. As for me, it's kinda deppressing to see other families, with husbands/fathers who played their role well for the family. on the other hand... it's an added challenge for me. I want my son to see me as the coolest mother there is. I wish to play basketball with him, play in the rain, teach him plumbing...haha!!! literally, and hopefully... anything a father could teach him. Then again... I can never be a full pledge father and that sucks, just because I chose to be single. But we'll be fine, that's for sure.

For me What I just missed my single hood were the free time and gallivanting moments without anyone to ask permission with. Instantly I can go anytime, anywhere I would like with my friends..that's all..thanks

I am single right now and I am proud to be one. There have been debates about it but then I am happy when I think about the fact that I do not have to answer anyone for anything and everything. I do not have to keep on calling someone every half an hour and then talk nonsense.

This morning i heard on the radio that two people were getting married only to reciece a better youth allowance. I believe it isn't right. Money shouldn't be the reason to get married.

Being single has its ups and downs,yes. But if you had made a choice or it was really fate for you being single, then it all depends on how to survive. One of the advantages of being single is that you got to hang out with your friends much often,You are not obliged to like communicate with him every now and then,etc. But of course there would be some disadvantages too like when its Valentine's Day and you got no one to spend a date with,something like that. But whether you're single or not, you are the only one responsible for your own happiness, not anyone else.

it is hard to be single. i don't see advantages but we have to be content and make of every situation. but it is not really being single that is the worse thing that can happen to any person. i think it all boils down to the attitude of a person. if a person knows how to live life in the best that he could then it is great.
