If you found a large sum of money in a wallet would you give it back? | | This has probably been asked before, but not by me. If I found a wallet I check the wallet for identity and return it. If there was no identity in the wallet I would turn it in to the local authorities. If it is not claimed within a certain amount of time the money and wallet are yours.

| | 2. Cleric (120) | 4 years ago | The right thing to do is give the wallet back as long as there's ID in it. If there's no ID at all, however... there's not much you can do. Maybe if there's a lost and found report, but aside from that, the odds are you won't be asked for the money.
