Money really is the root of all evils! How far would you go?

You are so right, dloveli. People can go way too far just for money.
My boyfriend has been unemployed for allmost half a year, but I would never hurt anyone just to get more money. It has been tough paying both our bills and my and collegebooks and college bills. Though, I can't see why someone would choose such desperate matters. There are a lot of other ways to make money and there are most likely people who can help you when you struggle.

My boyfriend is on a temp job right now but at least he has something, so that's great. That way we can start saving again and get everything back on track.
I hope you will be able to find a new job soon aswell.

I'd rather work for my money even if that meant I had to babysit and clean houses with my own business or do all sorts of odd jobs. I'd do whatever I could to make sure that I exhausted all the other means of money making first before I actually went to committing crimes to make money. I don't think I'd go past robbery though. I'm not going to kill someone for money. That is insane and no one deserves to die just because someone needs money.

Even given the obvious, dloveli, I would think that the wishes of the deceased parent(who was always the primaray, or sole caregiver), to these children, should be respected. This is a blatant case of the courts being given too much authority. Money in and of itself is not a bad thing, but it has been shown before that the "mother" of these children is only out for money. She has been paid to walk away from their lives. She should do the right thing and stay away!

So long as you are alive and live in this world,money is essential for you.Because

everything you need to survive can be had only with money.But one think is

important.Money is essential only for your physical survival.It cannot satisfied

your emotional needs.You cannot purchase love,solace,respect,confidence etc. with

money.Your emotional needs will be satisfied only when they are resiprocated.And

these emotions are far more valuable then worldly fortunes.Seeking money even at

the cost of these invaluable emotions is like cheating yourself.In a district of

the state i live in,the poor parents sell their children for a few hundread

rupees.Why?Because they are hungry and they need food for their physical

survival.They get the money,buy food and satisfy their hunger.Can you imagine what

they feel once their hunger is satisfied.Can you feel the pain they undergo?They

find themselves cheated.They cry for their children inconsolably,but can't get

them back.So i don't think a human being who is a human being in true sense of the

term can go that far to seek money.I don't want monet at this cost.I will not do

anything that does not behove me to get money.

like it or not this is life .and for me afirefighter I deal with this last month and this month .and been fathers taken their selfs and their kids, because of the ex wifes the worst part it I knew both of guys and their families..sad couple of months on my end .this was not over money it was safty for their kids...I though safy of the kids and they killed their own kids WOW where is the safy in that?Other friend wife wants out guilt of cheating on her try 4 times to kill him self .love,guilt,safty, or people are people press down so hard they just want out?no jobs,no futher for kids to grow up in, the gov it tryng to take ours rights away for freedoms .what will be leave? God is the judge over all we will see in the end .;)~j

I would never kill my family because of Money. To me that is stupid. Just like I see no sense at all in folks robbing others for money. I believe in working your butt off for the money you have. Luckily we didnt have it to bad. But we did have a slow pace here for a bit. I had to almost give puppies away that I would normally sell for $350 each. But now things seem to be looking like there getting back to normal.

The worst is gone, but we all should still be on guard that it could easily happen again. Always be prepared for the worst. That way you know if something does happen your ready for what may come.

How far would I go? I would go shoot a deer for food if I had to. Because I own my property, and my business so like others I wont lose my job.

Actually money is not the root of all evil. The real quote - taken from the Bible is "the love of money is the root of all evil" There is nothing intrinsically wrong with money itself. In fact, we can do a lot of good with it.

To cut short...if there's lots of money, we have problems, and if there is no money, again we have problems....what the heck???

I am so sorry about all the problems you've been having! I'm so sorry about you losing everything in the fire! I don't have any children, myself, but I sure wouldn't sell a child in order to have money. I love children, too.I am living on SSI, myself, so I know what you mean about money problems. Money is the root of evils. That is the bible say. But in my understanding, about this quote in the bible is not in general terms. If you are wise enough, money should use as a sort of buying things not a sort of praising it.

Money is really done many evil things in our society. We need to ensure that money is not control us, to prevent money for making us evil.
