do you easily open up yourself to strangers.....

Opening up with new friends will depend upon many factors. If s/he is an on-line friend, I do not mind sharing about me, provided the other fellow is interested in knowing about me and also comfortable in sharing about him/her. In real life, I do not open up with strangers very soon. It takes some time. If I feel that I am able to understand the nature of the stranger and s/he is going to gel with me, then only I start sharing about me. Basically, I am a shy person.........LOL!

for me i am easy to open up myself to them if i think they are just common people as me.most of people are kindly i think.don't think that they are different from you a lot.good attitude will be helpful i think.

Some basic info's will do but not all out especially when we just met on the internet, maybe it'll took a weeks, but it's still depends my feeling towards him/her, if i feel like he/she is a good person,then why not become friends,right?. I think it's dangerous if we open up easily to a stranger some information about us,especially those confidential information that's why we need to take a lot of care when we talk to strangers. Sometimes, it's easier to talk to your friends online than to your family or friends at home because they give unbiased advices. I have observed that I got different reactions from my online friends to things I said than from the ones at home. I do not really share everything, but somethings which can be told with no harm done is fine. I don't think it will be a problem if you open up to strangers, until and unless you are sure they can be trusted.

I don't open up to strangers easily at all. It may seem that way to some people because I have no issues striking up a conversation or talking about many different things, but personal information about myself will be kept very close to my chest until such time as I've reached a level of trust and comfort woth a person. The time it takes for me to reach this level depends on the person and the situation really. Sometimes it can take a matter of days, sometimes months! There are many people I've known for years even that I wouldn't ever share personal information with. Every situation is different. I just hope I'll always have the wisdom to know who I can trust and who I can't!

It is easy for me to accept a friend as my friend even they were a strangers, but not easy for me to trust them just in a short period. Being open up to a new friends i don't think that's a wise decisions for me because i don't know them well, and they don't to me too.

Here on MyLot where no one knows my real name, I will tell stories about my life if can help. In real life I won't tell anything until I know you real well. My Mylot friends know more about my past than my offline friends. Don't get me wrong, if a close friend asks a question I'll answer but I don't just tell them.
