McDonalds or Jollibee?

there are some food in mcdonalds that i really like and the same thing with jollibee. its comparable though, for example i like the spaghetti of jollibee compare to mc do because its more tasteful and there are more sauce to it not so much dry. i love the burgers of mcdo because of the dressing that their are using. when it comes to desserts, jollibee has lots of variety to choose from. since you are already here in manila, you can actually compare. and what ever your mouth wants, you can get. so that is good for you.

The serve of Jollibee, is a taste for Filipino's while McDo, is a taste from Americans.

Therefore, your choice is really good one my friend. If you are a foreigner, I though you choose McDo over Jollibee?

i think you should do more research in finding out what kind of meat is being used. and i never heard of jollibee but for the mcdonalds fans i recommend getting the documentary "super size me" you may think twice about mcdonalds and for all those other fast food junkies check out this documentary called fast food nation by eric scholosser it will help open your eyes on the food industry.

my kids love jollibee more than mcdonalds, especially their burger and swirl bits.

hi allenbucks! i was just about to make a discussion similar to yours. however, i thought, i'm pretty sure i'm not the first one to have thought about this topic. so i searched the discussions and saw this. i was correct!

i would say i choose jollibee. it is 100% pinoy. although the food and the concept was taken from the fast food industry model. however, the tastes of their food are very suited to pinoys and even the kind of service and atmosphere they bring. i'm glad though that their service does not use the "maniana habit". it would have been a misnomer calling jollibee as fast food.

so in answer to your question: i would choose jollibee! great food and great service!

Althought i am not from Philippine. But when i was there 2 years ago, i have a chance to try the Jollibee, i think that is great! I like it, actualy, i should say, i like Jollibee better than McDonalds. Maybe because i did not see any Jollibee in China, but McDonalds are anywhere in my country. lol

i prefer jollibee... just thinking of the name makes me hungry... jollibee is cheaper and got many choices. yum yum
