Can you still concentrate on myLot with background music?

I can, it's relaxing. Don't be too serious on Mylot, then you will just stress yourself.

I can Mylot while watching TV, facebooking, listening to music and eating. and I don't respond to topics that are too heavy or serious. If I do, then I have to really concentrate.

Oh yes, I can concentrate on mylot even if there is music in the background or in the foreground. What is important is that I can participate in this site during the time that I am free. I want to hear gospel music because it uplift my soul and spirit. I can respond and start discussions with music. And so, there is not much problem with me, just like you. Have a wonderful day!

Yes, I can do any sort of work if there is music in the background. It maybe because I have grown up with music. I learned to play the piano from around 7 years old and find that music playing the background often helps with my concentration. I will admit, that if the radio is on and they are talking between songs, that can be distracting, so when I am working on myLot I often play CDs or some MP3s that are on my computer. - Derek

I can mylot with music, tv, movies or anything else. It is easy to keep my mind on mylot as it is such a great place to be now matter whatever is going on in the foreground or background. I would always love to start discussions, respond to interesting topics being started and upload pics that are related to my interests with some background music on. Those mellow ones is what I prefer. It helps me think of good ideas, just like this. And it makes me feel relaxed and more in love at the same time. I can't work on anything without some music. It's soothing to the ears and heart.

its funny that you ask...ive got another window open with youtube listening to tunes....one thing that i have knoticed is that i dont pay a whole lot of attention to the music....but i like to have something playing in the background.....another thing that i have knoticed depending on what im listening too affects my replie because my moods are diffrent...kinda wierd....whatever you do dont ask me marital advise when im listening to metal...lol....i might tell you to do something you will soon regret....but no...music to me is like a must have...no matter what im doing...inless reading a book...

For me I watch tv while lotting, only for those serious discussion I got to mute the tv first. I can still focus while talking to my husband and lotting. I guess only loud music will distract me and either way I will visit MyLot daily to lot!

yes i can still concentrate on mylot while listening to my favourite background music, not only do i listen to music alone, i also do some other stuffs i like on internet and whenever i get an idea of what to write i quickly come back to mylot to get the idea down

Yes I can concentrate on Mylot, when I am listening to back ground music, sometimes, I will listen to music on my tape player, when I am answering discussion here in Mylot, it helps me to concentrate, when I am typing here in Mylot, Mylot is my get away place and this is where I get away from it all.

Yes. In fact, even back when I was still a student, I found it easier for me to absorb the lessons I'm studying with music playing in the background. It's something I never outgrew and when I started working I'd turn on the music player on my computer and listen to music while working. Of course, I used a headset or earphones so as not to disturb the others. And yes, it's a habit I rely on when 'm myLotting. Music just needs to be playing on the background. It soothes me and makes me think better.
