The memorial at the Staples Center for Michael Jackson is a beautiful tribute

You had to wonder what they would put together to memorialize an icon like Michael Jackson and to give him a send off that fit his stature. I couldn't think of what theatrics and musical performances would be put together on such short notice. I thought that they might go overboard and make it unseamy. I must say however that the memorial for Michael Jackson to honor his life, his family, his accomplishments, and his music was tasteful, respectful, and in a word EXTRAORDINARY! So many people from around the world who had a part to play in the pageant dropped everything that they were doing and that they were so wrapped up in that they would not have walked away from for any other reason, just dropped and appeared to play their parts in helping and allowing the world to say goodbye to truly the GREATEST VOCAL ARTIST to ever lay a track to vinyl. I pray that you find the peace in heaven that you were not able to find here in this imperfect world Michael. The world is never going to see another like you, and the world misses you. God bless and keep Michael Jackson!
